What Is Gastric Sleeve Surgery?
Gastric sleeve surgery (sleeve gastrectomy) is a minimally invasive weight-loss procedure in which approximately 75–80% of the stomach is permanently removed. What remains is a narrow, sleeve-shaped pouch about the size of a banana.
